I, Pastor Billy Washington have been in the ministry for 44 years. I have taught 7 years in the school system and 7 years as an  educational counselor.  I received Jesus in my life in  January  "76" at home in my bedroom. God called me to the ministry that same year. I started preaching 11 months later.  God call me like Jeremiah fire shut up in my bones. Jeremiah 20:9

In Hebrews 4:12 the bible states “For The Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Proverbs 22:14  states that in the multitude of counselors there is safety.  Rose of Sharon is  A church speaking God Words of Life and Delight!

 

I am a husband, father and grandfather, In the year 2020 I celebrated my 43rd anniversary to my wife Jo Ann Washington. I have a son Billy Ray Washington that is married to Tiffany Janae  they have two children. I also have a daughter Rayann Kristina Chaffin married to Matthew Chaffin for 10 years they are blessed with a two children.
